The Dead Zone Stephen King'in aynı isimli "Dead Zone" romanından televizyona uyarlanmış bir gerilim, drama dizisidir.
Johnny Smith, nişanlandığı gün geçirdiği bir trafik kazası sonucu komaya girer. Uzun bir süre komada kalan Johnny'den doktorlar artık umudu kesmiştir ve nişanlısıda başka bir adamla evlenmiştir.
Fakat Johnny hiç beklenmedik bir şekilde 6 yıl sonra komadan uyanır. Bu 6 yıllık sürede hayatında bir çok değişiklik olmuştur. Ama asıl değişiklik Johnny'nin beyninde gerçekleşmiştir. Bu uzun süreli koma sonucunda Johnny'nin beyninde ki Dead Zone adlı bölüm çalışmaya başlamış ve bazı psişik güçlere sahip olmuştur. Johnny Smith dokunduğu kişilerin veya nesnelerin geçmişlerini ve geleceklerini görebilmektedir.
