Ghost Whisperer, Amerikan CBS ve Türkiye'de Cnbc-e kanalları tarafından yayınlanan bir fantastik, drama dizisidir. Dizi, ünlü medyum James Van Praagh'ın çalışmalarından esinlenerek yaratılmıştır.
Ghost Whisperer, dünyada tamamlayamadıkları iÅŸleri olduÄŸu için dünyayı terkedemeyen ruhları görüp onlarla iletiÅŸim kurabilen Melinda Gordon'ın başından geçen olayları anlatan bir dizidir. Melinda, bu özelliÄŸini kendisiyle aynı özelliklere sahip olan babaannesinden almıştır.
Dünyevi ruhlar, genellikle dünyada yarım bıraktığı bir iÅŸi olan ve öldüÄŸünün farkına varmayan ruhlardır. ÇoÄŸu zararsızdır. Melinda, bu özel gücü sayesinde bu dünyevi ruhlara yardım eder. Aileleriyle dünyevi ruhlar arasında iletiÅŸim kurarak aracılık yapar.
Dizi, bir çok kez Emmy'e aday olmuÅŸtur. Jennifer Love Hewitt, "Bilimkurgu, Fantastik, Korku dizisi oskarlarında" en iyi bayan oyuncu ödülünü kazanmıştır.
